John combines deep operational experience with strategic insight to help founders and investors navigate uncertainty. After graduating from Harvard with a degree in Economics and then studying for his Phd at the University of Chicago, he has built and sold multiple companies while advising both early-stage startups and established ventures preparing for acquisitions or to be the acquirer. Collectively, John’s efforts have yielded exits, EBITDA growth, and scaled revenue of more than $500 million.
His unique perspective comes from sitting on both sides of the table – as a founder/operator who’s experienced the challenges of scaling firsthand, and as an advisor who’s helped numerous companies optimize their operations for growth. This dual experience informs 6A East’s research-driven approach to company building and investment strategy.
